Sony has announced the new Sony FS7II 4K camera.
The FS7 II builds upon the original FS7 and offers many new features and improvements listed below.
The FS7 II is expected to start shipping in January 2017.

The original FS7 $8499 , PXW-FS7, will continue to be sold at a lower price point for customers who do not need the new features offered by the FSII.
The PXW-FS7K FS7 28-135mm kit is not longer available and is discontinued.
FS7II Improvements:
Electronic Variable ND Filter
Locking E-Mount with Rotating Collar. No need to rotate lens.
FS7M2k includes new SELP18110G Super 35mm Servo Lens designed for documentary and film production
Telescopic Arm can be adjusted without tools
Telescopic Arm will be an optional upgrade for the original FS7
Tool-free mechanical design has been introduced to adjust the Smart Grip and viewfinder positions
10 user configurable buttons, 7 on the camera body and 3 on the handgrip
BT.2020 Wideo Color Gamut recording. FS7 II records directly to ITU-R BT.2020
Updated Pop-Up LCD hood & Improved Eyepiece Hook
Updated XQD card slot that makes it easier to change cards, even when wearing gloves
Power LED light. This helps avoid accidentally leaving the camera on and draining the battery
Sony also announced the QDG256 256GB memory card for use with FS7 and FS7II cameras. Pricing and availability have not been announced at this time.
